The historic win of Narendra Modi led BJP in the just concluded Lok Sabha Elections of 2019 has made clean sweep in 8 States and 2 Union Territories winning all seats. Voters gave their clear mandate to NDA repeating its performance in 5 states and 2 UTs and adding 3 more states from Northeast as Sikkim, Nagaland and Mizoram. BJP coalition got more than 50% of vote share in winning states and UTs.

Congress has been suppressed badly by Modi wave as they lost badly in 2019 Elections. Congress failed to open account getting big zero in 17 States & UTs. The 12 States and 5 Union Territories where Congress scored zero are Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim, Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Dadar Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu.
BJP and its alliance has crossed its 2014 elections tally of 336 seats to 353 seats out of total 542 seats with BJP alone winning 303 Lok Sabha seats in 2019 elections.
Bhartiya Janta Party had a clean sweep in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Daman & Diu and Chandigarh. This is the second time BJP is making a clean sweep in Gujarat, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh Lok Sabha elections repeating its 2014 elections performance.
BJP also swelled its vote share to 56.58% in 2019 elections from 46.40% in 2014, In vote share Congress performed a bit well rising to 22.46% from 15.10% in last Lok Sabha elections.
